Overall, it's unique base for exploring Assen attractions. We took a LUXURY twin room with a mini bar fridge, a heating system and a TV with satellite channels, it was pleasant. Paid €14 per person for breakfast, totally worth it.

There is nothing better than Van Der Valk Hotel Assen. We really enjoyed service and staff. The room was equipped with a jacuzzi.
